I first started "flying" as a teenage sailor on board a navy tanker. Night after night, calm or rough seas we flew sailors, rum, and some other things ship to ship. Had you told me then I would spend the next quarter century flying some of the most beautiful and talented people on the planet, I would have called you nuts.
